Spiritual direction is one of the General Theological Seminary's most beloved and popular programs. The Center for Christian Spirituality, founded in 1976, has supported spiritual direction students for over forty years. But what is the history of the Center, and how did it help make GTS what it is today and how has it contributed to the study and practice of spiritual direction generally?
